Up to date...If we beat Georgia, maybe we will be in the 70's by the end of the week.

Unlikely, but a win over Okie would be so huge.

That 91 isn't updated with the win over Alabama, so it should rise a little bit.

Will likely beat Oklahoma and then lose to Auburn and State.

I think the committee takes the BPI into account more

Their RPI is what it is, but the full lineup RPI is somewhere around 40-45 IMO.

Wake at 70 is the worst loss with the full lineup.

Just playing OU will help RPI

And playing them close win or lose would help the 'eye-test' intangible.

Looking at that website and playing with future predicted RPI, 20-11 will put us right around an RPI of 60 headed into the SECT.

That was predicting losses against OU, USC, UT and UK.

It seems that LSU will have to win one game out of OU and aTm.

What is really hard to swallow is that if LSU gets out of OOC play with 2 losses (beat Marquette, CoC, and Wake), you are looking at a top 25 RPI team right now.

But we didn't because we had starters out. With our full lineup we are a different team.

PAGING BFNIII.......

So we moved up from 105 to 90 going 1-1 on the road. The loss being to the #8/#10 team IN THE NATION AT THEIR HOUSE.

This week we play 2 teams at home with RPIs of 62 and 1. No one knows what the future holds but it seems to me we have a GREAT OPORTUNITY to move up the ranks again.

For a person who seems to think there's nothing on the horizon but doom and gloom, I think we're headed in the RIGHT DIRECTION.

Once again LSU fans, who don't watch any college basketball games except the ones that LSU plays in, are saying that we have no chance to make the tournament. This is one of the most wide open years in college basketball. The bubble teams suck and there are no elite teams. I wouldn't be surprise in the least if a 10 loss team wins it all like UConn did or if a mid-major makes a deep deep run. It's going to be a fun March just hope our Tigers continue to get better as a team.

What are you basing this on? BPI is an ESPN created stat and never heard of the NCAA Selection Committee having it available to them to consider. ESPN analyst use it more, but that's not the NCAA Selection Committee.

I guess the selection committee members watch every single college basketball game for every single one of the 330 teams and are never ever influenced by ESPN.
