I'll be heading out this afternoon. I read on a news site that I-20 wound be rerouted to I-30 at Shreveport. The DOTD website doesn't mention this. WWTOTD

It''s raining steady in Monroe right now...not good at all. No idea really if you can get here. You may stall in Bossier or Ruston if water jumps I-20 where it did the past few days. Look at the LSP website...and I wouldn't come here unless it was an emergency.

Just the westbound lanes are closed. I'm getting that from the DOTD website.

I did Monroe to Houston yesterday and the first hour or so down 165 was pretty hairy.

I avoided 20 at all cost

I have to go Monroe to Baton Rouge today. Thinking of going the long way to Jackson and down. Not sure how the roads are the Rayville/Natchez route.

Don't chance it. You might drown or something.

There are ways around. May have to take back roads from Bossier City/Shreveport until you get to Minden but after that you should be fine
