Glad someone is finally trying to address the crowding of referees among many other things. We will probably see a lot of cards early but it will be worth it in the long run. This shite has gotten disgraceful, especially when the refs turn out to be right a vast majority of the time.

I like these but will reserve judgement to see how they will be enforced. I hate seeing 5 or 6 players rushing a ref and getting in their face, hopefully this will end all that nonsense.

That's good I hate it when players crowd the officials. It's pathetic. Equally pathetic is the FA performing it's half assed coaching search right in the middle off the damn transfer window crippling those members whose managers have been interviewed while the FA fricks around deciding who they want. Yes I'm salty, don't mean to hijack

I like it. Hopefully it helps. I've been saying for a while that my idea was to card the team's captain if the ref got crowded. Gets the point across without having to card multiple players

But how will Chelsea players melt over every foul?

Chelsea might as well just sell Diego Costa now.

They interviewed Steve Bruce so apparently there is a Rooney rule but for shite managers.

I like that idea. I always imagined if I was a ref, I would just have my yellow card in a holster ready for any of these drama queens that got near me. Just carding the captain would probably be much more efficient.

It really is odd that the only sport you see blatant disrespect of the ref is soccer. I guess every other sport, at least in America, has a good system to stop this nonsense. You will either get a technical or straight ejection in basketball, ejected in baseball, and a 15 yard penalty in football. I do wonder if this all derives from substitution rules. It's the one sport where you can only use a maximum number of players. So, refs are more cautious with how they react to arguing calls.

Football refs take similar abuse but that may be the only other sport.

I wish soccer would consider a blue card, like indoor soccer.

I know it's a little weird, but the threat of having to go down to 10 men for five minutes would certainly be effective.
