Josh Norman's Redskins career hasn't even begun yet, and it's already off to a bad start -- if you're a big believer in the importance of practice. Because at practice on Sunday, Norman got torched by two of his teammates.

First up: Pierre Garcon, who easily outpaced Norman down the sideline. Then, he came back to the football and beat Norman to it.

Next up: DeSean Jackson, who fooled Norman on a comeback route.

How many corners would look good in one on ones in practice when qb has no pressure or need to read a defense?

Eh, those were two plays. Who knows how he did on the rest. And like the author of the article said, Norman is known for his zone coverage, not man to man

I thought Norman was never a great man to man guy?

I can live with getting beat on a comeback route against a guy with elite speed. No excuse for getting torched on a straight up fly route in 1 on 1s.

I would be surprised only if Jackson didn't beat him one on one in practice, especially in a comeback route. No cb is going to cover a pro wr indefinitely.

Exactly. If Norman could cover Jackson one on one on every route, the story would be about how Jackson can't get open.

And I can't stand Norman.

Right. It's the dude who graded out as the best corner in all of football last year and he got beat a couple times in a practice setting. This is the exact definition of a non story

Probably the same amount of corners that would look badass in the right defense.

He is a decent corner. You look at the highlights in most of his games and he was burned by all elite WR's in 1 on 1 matchups. Elite corners shut down anyone at anytime, man or zone. He is the next Byron Maxwell.

Maybe if Norman had his baseball bat, he'd have an easier time covering WRs, amirite?

I'm sure he was going all out on like first week of practice. Just looking for something to write.

More than that, every corner gets beat occasionally. It is part of playing the position. Allowing a couple of completions in practice isn't a horrible day.

Ryan Clark seems to think Redskins overpaid for him.
Only time will tell.
The scheme in Carolina and the personnel on dline in Carolina was very good. See how it impacts him
