To me in his little time on the field, he looks very effective and not scared to go forward.

Better than Zardes and is young enough that he can get better.

Say what you want about Thomas Rongen, but he loves Arriola. Says he's better than Nagbe.

I haven't seen enough from Arriola to form an opinion, but he has had some good moments for Tijuana.

I would love to see how Gooch looks for us. I think he has better potential than Arriola.

I like that he celebrates like he's a 7 yr old.

Do they play the same position? I thought Gooch is more central while Arriola is on the RW.

I thought PA played well yesterday but I need to watch him more to form an opinion.

Both can play on the wing or as a second striker. For Sunderland this season Gooch has played as attacking mid/second striker, left wing, right wing, and defensive/holding mid.

My thoughts are that its nice to see Americans that know how to play soccer and aren't just fast.

Come on man, Morris has decent field awareness and intelligence and is a pretty good finisher... with one foot.

He just seems more athlete to me than soccer player at this point... not necessarily a knock on him per se but he needs to get better.

Most of them have been with his weak foot,

And that's fly in the ointment for him... Like it's ok to be more comfortable with one foot over the other, but he straight up refuses to use his left.
