Do you feel Racial Awkwardness when going to vote?

I felt like i had to tell the semi elderly black lady standing near the door a hello and a smile bc i'm the white guy walking out who assuredly Maga'd 10 seconds ago. Had that lady been a white folk, i would have just zoomed by with no formal greeting needed. Just total awkwardness. And then the 2 ladies to each side of the person taking my ID, of course one was black and one was white, is that the only way to confirm correctness is to have a balancing act there?

Yes. I had a white fatty walk in after me with FOUR little black babies in tow.
We made eye contact

No. I well with pride when I see older black people voting. Some of them grew up in a time when they couldn't.

Let go of the white guilt, you did nothing by being born.

awkward because I was rocking a massive MAGA boner and wearing track pants.

I thought they couldn't check id? Is it only whites that have to show ID?

Yes, lol. And it was on my mind too. That elderly black guy directing me to the open booth said "good afternoon". I responded back with a boisterous "great, how are you today sir?" And I gave a "enjoy your day" when I walked out, lol

No because I'm not a pussy.
9 out of 10 should be thanking me for paying for their food, healthcare, kids, and other shite when they see me

True
However, I got to my precinct before it opened today. Within the first 10 people we had hispanic, black, white, and Asian covered.
Things I'm not used to.

True story, saw a black bud of mine as he was leaving, and I was in line. We did the soul brother handshake, pulled each other in chest to chest and bumped, and grabbed shoulder with the other hand. He was the only black person in the building. Not gonna lie, I felt like a rock star.

Don't let the media make you feel like a vote for Trump is a vote for racism. It is most certainly not.
