GOALKEEPERS: David Bingham , Stefan Frei, Bill Hamid, Nick Rimando, Luis Robles

DEFENDERS: DaMarcus Beasley, Steve Birnbaum, Brad Evans, Greg Garza, Matt Hedges, Taylor Kemp, Chad Marshall, Keegan Rosenberry, Walker Zimmerman, Graham Zusi

MIDFIELDERS: Kellyn Acosta, Alejandro Bedoya, Michael Bradley, Benny Feilhaber, Jermaine Jones, Sacha Kljestan, Sebastian Lletget, Kekuta Manneh, Dax McCarty, Darlington Nagbe, Chris Pontius, Wil Trapp

FORWARDS: Juan Agudelo, Jozy Altidore, Jordan Morris, Chris Wondo, Gyasi Zardes

Why Rimando, Zusi, and Wondo?

Zusi spot should've been for Ethan Finlay

Wondo spot could've been anyone else literally frickiny anyone. Yes I know it's just MLS camp and international players are busy but still, what's the fricking point.

I am very happy about Hamid and Manneh though.

He definitely should have done better, but that's still a very tough shot to make. The keeper did a great job of blocking off most of the goal.

If you make a World Cup roster, you should at least put that shot on target.

Despite all the hubbub, the best (only?) chance to score was to lay it off.

Courtois was closing that window FAST.

he has to, at the very least, get that shot on target.

Exactly. Courtois would have probably saved an on-target shot anyway, but it was a choke job of the highest order no doubt. Just a perfect storm of circumstances that will immortalize him forever as the dude who missed a sitter in stoppage time that would have advanced the US to the last 8 of the World Cup.

ETA Those gifs are painful to watch man I remember that awful feeling in my gut like it was yesterday.

Look at that impeccable form!

Jeez. Jones delivered a great header to set that up. He could have shot or tapped it to Dempsey.

You can see Dempsey moving into position to take a tap from Wondo.

If we score and win, is Klinsmann still coach?

Why, Bruce, why?

Watching that is like remembering/watching my VHS of the Italy vs. USA match at Italia '90...knowing we were not up to it, yet, but still there, and could have tied the Italians at 1 but for Walter Zenga's arse saving a sure Yank goal.
