At least other Republicans try to find common ground and/or convince Trump that there way is the better way.

McCain and Graham seem to oppose Trump for opposition sake. They run to CNN and complain about Trump the first chance they get and CNN always use these guys for their typical statement of, "but all Republicans don't agree".

What are these guys trying to accomplish?

Republicans are stupid. Seriously, this tells you how God awful the DNC is that they have been destroyed at every level over the last 8 years by a party full of idiots.

Because they've both been in DC so long they've lost touch with the common, grass roots voters that put Trump in office.

They're internationalists. The president is, at least on TV, a nationalist. And they probably find him personally distasteful.

But Trump, Graham and McCain have so much in common in terms of military spending and the VA.

Because he is a monster and they are not running again so they can call him out without fear of reprisal.

There's more to internationalism than pandering to people who cry about busted budgets while supporting $800B in defense spending.
