LINCOLN Child, not Lee Child of Reacher fame.

I really dug the Repairman Jack series from F Paul Wilson but it got a little in the weeds towards the end.

However, Pendergast is a legit character and would love to see more big screen movies made (Relic SUUUCKED).

F Paul Wilson Adversary Cycle was the first series of books I ever read. Read them in the early 90's during High Scool. 'The Keep' reeled me in and I enjoyed every book in the series.

I can never forgive what Michael Mann did to "The Keep" in the movie version. The Keep was one of the first "adult" books I read as a kid. shite, I was like 10 or 11.

Didn't know there was a move until late 90s. Wish I never watched it.

Wish someone would make the movie(s). Great stories.

I'm a huge fan of Pendergast. Preston and Child have really cranked out some great stuff, IMO. It's been awhile since I've read some of their work. I probably need to catch up on a book or 2.

The latest few Pendergast novels have focused on Pendergast and Constance. Without some of the supporting characters it is a bit boring since they took it into the direction they have chosen. All-in-all Preston/Child are very good writers. If you want a great read, try Utopia by Lincoln Child, its really good.
