Sure, mean words. Dude said stupid shite.

There. I can say he said stupid shite and, if I knew him personally, I'd probably tell him, "man, that was dumb to say".

I have no problem saying I really don't approve of the comment.

But, in the end, it's a comment that affects no one. No, it doesn't affect me because "he represents me" blah blah blah. It's just a dumb comment.

Frankly, the person who should be the most pissed is Joe. And, I'm sure he is as I would be had my wife been the target of the comment.

But, get back to me when he starts using the government against his political opponents, makes comments about police acting stupidly when he doesn't know anything about the situation.

Ya know. shite that actually affects my fellow Americans.

It's not just one comment. It the totality of a bunch of similar comments that just illustrates the way the man works and thinks.

It's concerning considering his position.

This is probably true for people claiming this is the end of America on Twitter.

I don't think it's applicable here, because it's a political board so it makes plenty of sense to discuss why we like it or don't.

It was a classless tweet. Let's all talk about it for 48 hours until something else happens.

No. They illustrate that he has no filter. I know the type.

I don't consider it endearing. But, it's just words.

I'm not concerned by mean words. They are illustrative of nothing at all that affects anyone.

I'm more concerned by words that support actions I find harmful.

I do too. I wouldn't that type as my boss either, much less the POTUS.

Words that further the divide in our country are harmful IMO

Why? Obama was(is) a fluffer for cultural Marxism and anti capitalism. "I think there is a point were you've made enough money", etc. Did you find that concerning?

This isn't anything new. We've all known Trump was unfiltered with his words. I don't dismiss his idiotic tweets, but I do expect them from time to time.

What's crazy to me is that people think politicians don't say and do heinous shite behind closed doors with regards to their opposition.

Correct. It has always been my #1 criticism of Trump from the very beginning.

Righteous indignation.

By pointing out the faults/mean words of someone else they position themselves as better [than others]. People with low self esteem who are unhappy in their lives are most guilty of it. Crowing about someone/something they believe to be less than or worse than themselves makes them feel superior.

Lame dodge.
The context was the poster having a problem with personality types. Your response was Pavlovian at best.

I just love all of the incredible Skeptics who became brainwashed True Believers over night in November. They are plenty around here and they make me laugh.

I'm not dodging anything. I'm not the one excusing the actions of the current President by bringing up a former President as if that is the standard that should be met. Obama was terrible. We all know that.

I agree.

These don't come close to falling in to that category unless you mean divide between complete snowflakes and normal people.

This is actually about 100x more offensive than Trump's post.

That's what these snowflakes don't get.
