M Gordon for Cooper/Montgomery, standard league. Seems lopsided to me but I'm not big on vetoing trades based on stupidity. Does this seem like collusion or just poor management? The guy trading away Gordon is 2-4 and his team is garbage, not sure if this is a desperation move or purposeful. Thoughts?

Edit: thanks for the feedback - not gonna veto

Seems like a fair 2 for 1 deal

Only outright collusion should be vetoed. This almost certainly isn’t that.

I mean, it's a trade I wouldn't make, but not enough to show collusion. Let it through.

If you veto that trade you’re in a vag league. Let people run their teams how they want

Collusion is the only reason for veto no matter how lopsided a trade is

But that’s not even all that lopsided. Guy is 2-4 and bought low on what could be two studs or one and an RB2

Hell I bet the guy that gave cooper is pissed right now

I don't even think that it's a bad trade, let alone veto worthy. I was trying to figure out which side you didn't like. I'll also throw out the "veto only for collusion... yadayadayada..."

I hate vetos. I had a good trade with another league member and it was vetoed 3 times. No collusion and we both thought the trade helped us out.

Vetos are an abomination. Does that answer your question?

I would throw a fit. In fact I did a few years ago when a few a-hole members of my league veto'd a trade, and the explicit reason one of them gave was that it made my team too good. I threatened to quit the league, and meant it, and they backed down from it. It ended up that I would have been better off without making the trade, so that shows their crystal ball must have been broken. Anyway, I wouldn't tolerate that. If they veto'd a trade that wasn't collusion and wouldn't listen to reason then I would quit.

the exact reason my trade got vetoed. this happen over a week ago and I'm still fuming over it. its the classic childish logic of "if I can't have that, then no one can"

I won't quit my league but I'm not going to lie I've still got smoke coming out of my ears. Both me and the other trade partner are planning on vetoing every trade that comes down the pipe now
