Jumanji- welcome to the jungle

Took the family to see the new Jumanji movie. I have to say, I was expecting it to be terrible but it wasn’t bad. There were some funny moments and some cliche moments but in all, it was decent. There were one or two cringe moments for my 12 year old daughter, but was otherwise teen-ish kid friendly. Everyone in the family liked it.
And Karen Gilliam was straight fiya in that movie. Damn...

I saw it a few weeks ago through that Amazon prime promo thing.
I'd put it with Justice League and TLJ as enjoyable 6/10 popcorn flicks

Im guessing the penis stuff with Jack Black?
Saw it yesterday. I enjoyed it. Curious to see where they take the sequel. Same cast?

I just got through watching it, and I was pleasantly surprised. I had low expectations going in, so that probably helped. But I thought it was actually pretty funny. I ended up enjoying it more than TLJ, but them again, Jumanji didn't have over 4 decades of movie and character history to ruin. I thought it was definitely a fun movie.

Got out of it earlier with the family. A solid sequel to Jumanji and was the logical direction to take a sequel. I’m very disappointed by the Van Pelt here due to how awesome the original was, but I more or less like everything else about. About as good of a sequel as you could hope for.

Wut?
As far as fun films go you seriously put this film, JL, and TLJ at the same level?
Let's keep it between this and TLJ:
Cliche plot but the journey had all of the right notes. You had character growth arcs that were 100% on the actor to sell because we have seen the tropes before, and they did it well. Ditto for the humor.
It paid homage to his origins, without pissing on it by bringing them to center stage just to kill them off, and also as an aside so it wasn't a distraction.
Easily the most enjoyable experience I had at the movies since Baby Driver.

I took the family last night. I hadn't even seen a preview of it yet, so I did know what to expect. I really enjoyed it. I thought it was well cast and was pretty funny throughout.

took me a while to realize she is also Nebula in Guardians of the Galaxy....looking at her WIKI page she has won a ton of awards for her acting. Never watched Dr. Who but she is a character there also.
and super hot yes.

Saw it last night with the family. Plenty of laugh out moments. Jack Black did an amazingly funny job.

It was very enjoyable. Jack Black was hilarious and Amy Pond (Karen Gillian) is one of the hottest chicks in Hollywood

I thought it was quite entertaining. It was mindless. It didn’t expand my horizons. It didn’t make me ask any questions about life. It did bring a smile to my face hearing my daughter giggle.
It’s an entertaining flick. No obvious flaws.

Took my kids this weekend and we all laughed. It pays homage to the original while expanding the game world. How many of us as kids wondered what that world really looked like while listening to Robin Williams describe it?! The Rock and Kevin Hart play off each other well. Nebula chick was awesome and Jack Black was funny as a 16 year old girl.
My boys quoted the peeing scene all weekend. I was pleasantly surprised.

I can honestly say I laughed as much watching this as anything else this year. What a wonderful surprise. Jack Black is great.

Saw it tonite. Good movie. Red head kept getting hotter and hotter. Getting Jack black was a great casting decision.
