Not a bad payout. 4 teams entered at 20$ each and one got 4th out of 113k entries. 2 of the other 4 got paid. But would have been 250k had Drew Brees completed a 5 yard pass and then knelt the ball out on the last 4th and 3. Even a running first down would have guarenteed me 100k for 2ns since Cam wouldn't get back on the field.
Bittersweet. A weak argument could be made that I win 250k if Panthers didn't cheat and skip concussion protocol since all 3 teams who beat me had Cam. But without the McCaffrey TD, I don't even come close to 25k. So I won't lament that.

Brees
Henry
McCaffrey
Ginn

Robert Woods
Greg Olson
Tevin Coleman

Great hit! It's sick how thin the margins are in DFS, especially on short slates like this with increased ownership percentages.

I think you get taxed if you win more than $800. I'm talking about just a single entry though.

I don't know what the deal is if you had multiple entries that totaled over $800 in winnings.

pretty crazy how you can bet on point spreads where I live but can't play DFS.

It has nothing to do with number of entries. 1099 gets issued based on year end profit of $600 (I think that's the number) or more. OP needs to leave some money set aside to pay in 2018 unless he plans on giving it all back to DK this year

Yeh, but I can get away with not paying it til the end of the year.

Almost all of it is in crypto already.

And yeh, I left some on. For every 1,000 I blow, I save about 290 in what I have to give Uncle Sam. So a bit more incentive to be a degenerate these next 12 months than usual.
