Saw him mentioned in another thread and looked him.
Looks like he is a free agent.
Wonder if he ever thinks about giving football another shot.
He is about the same age as Chris Weinke was when he went back to FSU.

LSU also had a former West Monroe player who played pro Baseball and then came back and played DE.

Matt Mauck came to LSU after spending several years in the Cubs minor league system. It worked out real well for him and LSU.

I thought that he enrolled in school and attended classes. Therefore starting his eligibility clock which would now be up.

IIRC he gave the dodgers a deadline to give him an offer or he was going to enroll in summer school. I think the offer came before he ever enrolled but I could be wrong...

I appreciate the spirit, but Mauk spent 3 years in the minors, Zach has spent 7. I’m guessing Zach lee would do it over if he could.

If I remember correctly, his signing bonus was around 5 million. I’m not sure he’d do it differently.

He shouldn't. We wouldn't have developed him at QB either and even with never making it big he's still made like $6 million.
