He always had the it factor to me...I think losing him would have been worse than Surtain....

There are a lot of really good players that haven't practiced yet. Joseph, Chase, Rosenthal, Hines and Curry should all have some impact.

People want to mock Coach O & his ability to recruit, but he is the main reason we landed Chase. Relentless in pursuit of the kid even when he had been committed to 2 differebt schools & favored Auburn in the end.
Facts: chase’s dad loves coach O
Jay Roth loves Ensminger
Terrance Marshall was also huge in pursuading him
Fwiw Les Miles wanted Chase as a CB early in his recruitment

Feet look quick and explosive. He’s got great hands too. I’m more excited about chase than Marshall tbh. Marshall is just bigger.

Chase is reportedly a better route runner as well. I believe they said he was the best WR at The Opening.
