Just want to point out that this is the greatest news dump of all-time. 4 PM ET on a Friday after every person who cares about soccer in the US is focused on that Spain-Portugal match.

They also announced that they got rid of 2 assistants.

Good. Take away that 5 game win streak, which we had to come back in almost every game, and this season has been absolutely terrible. We aren't even getting draws, we are losing 2-0 and 3-0. After the amount of money they spent this summer, this team should be in the top 2 or 3 in the East, not out of the playoffs.

Sorry to hear it. He's been a bit of a favorite since he played for Dallas.

Dropping 6 straight games will get you canned. He was on thin ice before the season, but when Dom came back and they won 5 in a row going into the Atlanta United game he bought some time. Getting smoked 3-0 by Montreal Wednesday sealed his fate.

Is he the most successful player to ever come out of Louisiana? I can't think of any other who's achieved as much as he has.

Who else out of Louisiana has played on the National Team or even MLS?

Andrew Tarbell is the starting GK for the San Jose Earthquakes. From Mandeville area, played at Fontainebleau High School then Clemson.
Probably won’t be for much longer, though. Hasn’t fared well this season.
Jason Garey and Jared Montz were good, but had short MLS careers due to injuries. Garey won an MLS Cup with the Crew in 2008. But yeah, Kreis is definitely our best export.
