They keep showing playoff groups including LSU and BAMA

Why? Because they know we will beat Bama next week, but they also know Bama will back into the playoffs in the end. Knowing we have to play each other, and one will lose, there is no other explanation for the playoff prediction with both of us in the mix. God, I wish we had the Florida game back!

I agree with you the only way that both LSU and Bama are in the playoff is if LSU wins next week
so that has to mean everyone thinks LSU will win

Are they showing their prediction for the final playoff group or their thoughts on the first group to be released Tuesday? Because we could both be there next week.

They keep showing the 4 that should be in as of today with next 2 out....even at that LSU and BAMA should not both be there seeing they play each other. That scenario is impossible if LSU wins unless BAMA backs in..or if LSU loses.

It's their assessment of who would be in the CFP playoff if the season ended now. LSU is there because of record against best strength of schedule.

With each passing week Alabama's schedule starts to look weaker. Louisville got boat raced by a wake forest team that was winless in the sec and Arkansas got smoked by Vanderbilt. Alabama is very good but it's tough to evaluate just how good because the opponents have been so weak. The Aggies are probably by far the best team and they're a middle of the pack sec west team.

It's been the same story all season. Nobody believed in LSU but LSU. Hell even a good portion of the fanbase didn't even believe. If LSU plays like we all know that they can play you'll be a believer too come next Saturday night.

If the CFP Committee takes their charter seriously and puts in the four best. I think this could play out.
LSU takes Bama to the mat but looses by 7 or less and Bama rolls thru the rest of their Sch to include SEC Championship. LSU wins out convincingly I believe there would be an off hand chance we get in at 4 with a rematch with Bama.
