We win last night with AD easily

Utah has a really good team and Rudy usually gives Davis all that he wants, but no way do we get beat by Denver last night with him the right on the floor. We gave that game away ... AD needs to play through a little pain

we'll never know.
Denver is a great team at home. A great team.
Seems to be there's some sort of illness going around the league. AD got the vaginanitis and must have given it to Kawhi, Giannis, and Wiggins.

If the Pels are good enough to make noise in the playoffs, they’re good enough to let their star heal up through dings in the regular season without falling out of the playoff race.
The Pels probably win last night too if Elfrid Payton plays. Where’s the outrage that he’s sitting?
It’s his shooting side elbow too. I dont know why people want him to frick around on it so bad.

How do you sprain your elbow, and how will playing make it worse? Maybe you won't shoot well, but your defense and ability to get to the rim would more than suffice.
I agree he should sit if he could make it worse by playing. I'm not a doctor so i have no idea, but my go to is to suck it up and play.

Me? I’ll defer to the doctors and trainers when it comes to being cautious.

So basically, "I have no knowledge of the situation. At all. But I have an opinion!"
Brilliant.
Brilliant.

Good to be back, fellow Pels talkers

We don't commit 20 turnovers and shoot under 30% in the 2nd quarter last night and we win. We played sloppy as hell, without two starters, one being an MVP frontrunner, battled back from down 15+, in one of the hardest places to play on our third game in 4 days, and lost by 5. That's more encouraging than beating the struggling Rockets by 25 IMO.

While that’s true, we win with any real breath of life from Solo Hill! Dude’s stat line was 4/2/2. No blocks or steals from his position with only one personal foul screams shitty defensive effort imo. I only watched the first qtr so idk what was what. But the stats clearly state he was the worst player on the team last night

I'm all for AD or really anyone with a nagging injury to take nights off out of precaution, especially when there are B2B's.
I have no knowledge of the situation, just like the rest of you don't, yet suck it up and play is the wrong answer here for some reason. You ok with him sitting these games out if the injury had no risk of becoming worse by playing, and they simply wanted to make sure he was 100% when he came back instead of playing through it at 70-80%?
Somebody want to give me some medical advice on why playing with a sprained elbow could make things significantly worst? Based on my experiences with sprains, you aren't going to make it worst, it just takes time and rest to heal. You want to play through the pain, your recovery to 100% will likely take longer, but you likely aren't going to make the injury worst.
It's one thing if he had a sprained ankle or knee, or even the wrist, but I don't get the wear and tear put on an elbow in a basketball game. Quit falling down so much and when you do fall, quit using your arm to brace your fall. Are you really going to make your sprained elbow worst by shooting a basketball? If so, then don't practice shooting for a few days and give it a rest. We don't even need AD to take a jump shot in a game to be an effective offensive player. I would think he could essentially rest his elbow while still playing. Same can't be said for a sprained ankle or knee. that's why I am going with suck it up and play.

I just don't understand on how one can have an opinion on ANYTHING without access to facts. That blows my mind.

Fair to ask what can happen with an elbow sprain. I don't know. Maybe nothing. Maybe something.
But assuming that Davis or the team don't want him to play because he's not 100% is off. Davis has played through nagging injuries before. The medical staff seems to actually be professional and understand NBA health/fitness/injuries.
Just very weird to assume the worst here. Davis wants to play. The team wants him to play. There's probably a good reason he didn't. With this new staff, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

I don't want AD pushing it then being out for a longer period of time. Solo is awful...Our bench really showed up last night which was encouraging. Jrue getting in foul trouble hurt us bad. We missed free throws in key moments and shots around the basket. We gained a ton of momentum and if the refs made the right call when ball went of Murray which ended in 3 points for them. That call was crucial sense we used so much energy to come back in Denver (Higher Altitude). I will agree that we look like a completely different team with AD out. The guy is a monster on offense and defense.

Did you not follow the rationale I used to back up my opinion, since I don't have access to the facts and i'm not a doctor? I"m not just saying any injury you need to suck it up and play through it. This one seems like one you could paly through, but I could be wrong, and likely am, but those facts haven't popped up yet.
I don't have a problem with him sitting when he's nicked up, especially during certain parts of the schedule. I just don't understand this particular one. Would love for someone to enlighten me on the injury and why he shouldn't play, instead of just saying b/c the medical staff said so.
I'll also add that I trust what this medical staff is doing as well. I know AD wants to play, and i'm sure he told the staff he was going to play, and they are the ones that said no you are not.
