You know anyone that married their step brother/sister?

Years ago (1990), I was bar tending at a place in Hammond called Chevy’s. It was an old people bar (watering hole) back then. It later became a college bar. One night, two couples came in, one older, one younger. Both the couples just got married that day and they were out celebrating. Come to find out, the older lady was the mother of the younger girl, and the older guy was the father of the younger guy. The younger couple met first, and their parents started dating after meeting through their kids.
They decided to have a double wedding.

It’s usually adult children who meet when their parents start dating. Turns out that children and parents share traits, so the kids are as compatible as the parents. Don’t lose sleep over it.

This scenario isn’t weird. They weren’t step brother/sister when they met. They were complete strangers. They just can jokingly say “I married my stepsister/stepbrother”.

My MIL and her sister were married to twin guys (years apart). MIL and her sister originally from UK. MIL, sister and her husband passed, wife's stepfather still alive. They've all past recently years apart though. Surprised her Step Father is still alive. Alchohol is killing him.

BTW: On the Brady Bunch, the mother and father of the Brady parents ended up getting married. Barry on the CW’s Flash show essentially married his adopted sister.

I knew a guy from Church Point who married the step-sister he grew up in the same home with. We gave him boatloads of shite about it, but wished him happiness. She left him a few years later for BBC. True story.

I do not remember this one and I’ve seen every episode. Is that the one where Tiger chases the cat and destroys the cake, or is that the pilot, when Mike and Carol get married.
