Did they give him a 3 point shot attempt early in the second half when he threw an alley oop but the ball hit the rim? They showed him 5-7 from three at that point and I know he was 5-6 in the first half.

I saw he only had 1 assist, which is surprising considering some of the passes he was making. If our guys weren’t stuffed at the rim so many times, his assists would have been 5+.

I’ve always acknowledged his talent, just said that he needs to change his decision making & shot selection; and he has. That’s different than saying the coach can’t coach

And let’s not pretend Waters didn’t go 4-17 against Missouri. That’s my beef with him. Inconsistentcy

Ok and for the record, I think my criticisms of wade and the team in that post were spot on based on last season and this season to that point

you’ve always said Waters has never been a good player, you’ve never acknowledged his talent.

re: Waters is a bad basketball player this season.

He wasn’t good last year lol, I tried telling all you fricks

He sucked last year too. Common misconception

Tremont Waters is a losing player. Does Wade have the balls to cut his minutes in half like they should be?

So no you’ve never acknowledged his talent you’ve been trying to convince people he’s not any good since last season. You’ve also said Smart is much better than Waters lol.

He’s so much better than Waters

You use his FG percentage in outlier games as evidence that you’re right about this yet you ignore Smarts much worse shooting percentage which is considerably lower than Waters and lower than any point in Waters career. Just eat your crow like a big boy and be done with it so you can hop on the bandwagon and enjoy Waters and this team. Every “man” has to at some point in life or you’re simply just an immature boy.

Outside of saying Smart is better, none of that is untrue

You use his FG percentage in outlier games

If something happens more than the other, it is not an “outlier”

What’s the point of focusing on last year? Waters is having an insane year in SEC play, shooting 50% & 40% even with the clunker vs Mizzou. Last year was at 34%/29% across the whole slate.

Now if 50% is good, I don’t know how an objective person can sit here & pretend that 34% is good too, or that one of the biggest improvements from 1 year to the next is going on right now. Oh that’s right, you’re not the objective person here. I am.

Waters is a special player. Nobody with a brain ever refuted that. I really wish he’d stop trying to be too cute with the ball sometimes but you take the good with the bad.

I’m glad he’s cut down on those turnovers. He really seems to have found his feel with the new guys. Just needed some time

Mays and Smart, who both struggled shooting, combined for 7 assists and 5 steals (4 by Mays).

But it doesn’t that’s the point and I’ve akready proved this in a previous thread. Waters has 30 of 52 career games that are not only above average but all-conference type lines. And of course you’re wrong, none of that is true, how can a losing player not only lead a 7 win turnaround of the worst SEC record in school history as a freshman but one of the best starts in school history and first place in a top conference? Sorry you’re wrong and can’t admit it, you can save your ridiculous little emojis. Since you struggle with math even if you said that all of his SEC games from last year were bad which they weren’t you’d still be talking about 18 of 52 career games, that’s 34% of the time and not an example of something happening more than not dingbat.
