Read the book, which I liked, along with Heart Shaped Box and Horns.
No foul on Joe Hill.
But, when the SJW producer says,
"(In the show version) Manx represents the Patriarchy...he loves children but hates Mothers,"

I'll wait to see if the show is as insufferable as the producer. But I still don't know why creators continue to force this 'woke' crap down people's throats when it is never profitable for them.

Stephen King marathon on IFC now, and there is an ad for the NOS4A2 premier on AMC tonight every break.

I went in blind watching this show. This is the only thread I found.
Show is definitely worth a watch. Its kind of corny at times, but the acting is good, and the storyline is weird and mysterious. Fairly dark.
Haven't gotten much SJW vibes to be honest.

Some episodes were really good, others were really bad. same for the acting. It is a very uneven show. I don't remember any wokeness in it.
