Kudos to Cracker Barrel. This detective, who is also the pastor of a fundamentalist church, sounds like a nutjob.

quote:

CLEVELAND, Tenn. – A Cracker Barrel in Cleveland, Tennessee, refused to host Knox County Sheriff's Office Detective Grayson Fritts and his church group, citing the restaurant chain's zero-tolerance policy for "discriminatory treatment or harassment of any sort."

Fritts and his independent Baptist church in Knoxville had planned a meeting at the Cracker Barrel on June 29.

Cracker Barrel said it is not affiliated in any way with Fritts his church "and we disagree strongly with their statements of hate and divisiveness," the Tennessee-based national restaurant chain said in a statement posted to Twitter Tuesday.

The chain said it told the church its event will not be allowed. "We serve everyone who walks through our doors with genuine hospitality, not hate, and require all guests to do the same," the restaurant said.

I'm sure this detective considers himself a Bible-reading Christian, but must have glossed over the lesson in John 8:11.

LGBTQ is a sign of a fading, and dying civilization. All cultures that grow up to a high enough decadence level starts this in its dying phase. So YAY gay pride month! Let's have pride for the death of western civ!

So, just conceal. I eat at CB a couple of times a month and my Dad, brothers and sons and nephews we all conceal carry in the CBs.

If they were anti-2A they would have "no concealed carry" signs up front.

At what point do they determine that not supporting certain lifestyles is "hate" and that Christian groups generally aren't allowed to eat there? Seems like an arbitrary standard on their part that can go really bad really fast.

Probably when you call for people who practice the lifestyle to be executed (particularly when you are in law enforcement and include your employer as part of the execution squad).

When you call for them to be executed. Goes against everything a Christian should stand for.

That's quite a leap.

I'm not a big fan of the LGTNRBQ crowd, but calling for their execution is what I would consider hateful and anti-Christian.
