Pride Month Discussion Topic - Child sleepover with friend who switched genders

Had a conversation with someone who ran into this issue. His daughter (now a teen) has a childhood friend who is switching genders (girl -> boy). They have had a several sleep overs growing up, but after this new revelation was found out by Dad he has banned them. They can be friends, just no more sleepovers.
His logic - I would not let my daughter sleep over at a boys house and I extend that to people who think they are a boy.
Although there is 0% risk of teenage pregnancy, that is a sound decision in my book.

Completely agree with the father. No place for that

Never happen at my house.

You'll catch 6 pages before anyone figures this out.

As a parent it’s my job to make sure my kid is safe. Therefore... frick THAT!

It's still a girl right? What's the issue?
Unless the dad is acknowledging it as a boy.

That probably likes Girls. Would you let your teen daughter sleepover with a Boy?

The issue is that the other dad hasn’t sent their kid to therapy to fix them

No way. The parents are clearly nuts and will not be responsible for my child.

Then the issue is sexual orientation. What about lesbian friends? I'd be more worried about that than a kid wanting to be a boy.

Yeah that would be a bigger concern too.
