An impaired driver crashed head-on into a school bus, early Friday morning, causing Highway 11 to be shut down for over two hours. Luckily, no children were on board at the time of the crash.
Shortly after 7:30 a.m. this morning (Friday, August 23rd), Slidell Police responded to the crash, which occurred at the top of the Highway 11/Front Street bridge (the bridge that goes over the railroad tracks between Gause Boulevard and North Boulevard). Witnesses say that 26-year-old, Alexandra Alley (Baton Rouge, Louisiana), was traveling south on Highway 11, in a 2015 Honda Accord, when she crossed over the centerline of the roadway. This caused a head-on collision into a school bus, causing the front wheel of the bus to fall off. The bus spun out of control, causing it to crash into an unmarked Louisiana Probation and Patrol police vehicle (Dodge Ram). Luckily, there were no children on the school bus at the time of the crash; however, the bus driver did sustain minor injuries. The Louisiana Probation and Parole officer did not have any injuries.
When officers arrived on the scene, it was apparent that the person responsible for the crash, Alexander Alley, was impaired and appeared under the influence of narcotics. Officers also located suspected narcotics inside of Alley’s vehicle. Alley was transported to a local hospital where she is currently being treated for minor injuries. Upon her release, Alley will be booked into Slidell City Jail and charged with: Driving Under the Influence (2nd Offense), Driving Under Suspension, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Legend Drug, Vehicular Negligent Injuring, and Improper Lane Usage.
A blood sample was taken from Alley, and toxicology is pending.

First strip club I went too (I'm from Slidell).
There were some black dudes playing pool while average girls were dancing. They are paying them no interest. Im thinking why come to a strip club just to shoot pool.
Then this fat blonde came to the stage. Those dudes lined up front and center and made it rain all over her. She even made her fat clap which really got em going.
I decided I'd never go back. Scuttlebutt makes the Gold Club feel like Trump Tower.
