Especially with the NFL’s socialistic revenue sharing model?

Why weren’t they forced to move to LA?

I assume living anywhere else would make the commute miserable

Because LA wouldn't have supported them just like their two current teams.

They will be in London within the next three years.

The ownership is pretty committed to Jacksonville and has invested millions of dollars into other development projects throughout downtown

The city supports the Rams just fine.

It's the Chargers that need to move. Preferably back to San Diego.

The NFL hates admitting they are wrong.

They have a huge following down there, they are the only big 4 team there but they have had like 4 seasons this century to get hyped for. Build a consistent winner and asses are in seats.

Yep. They came into the league the same year as the Panthers, and the Panthers have been way more successful.

I mean just look at '18 attendance

Jacksonville has been ridiculously supportive of the Jags considering we've had one season in the past decade above 8-8

The team’s location and branding are very bland. Panthers aren’t too far behind either actually. Just meh on meh. The 95 expansion was a miss on all fronts IMO.

Yea we are pretty bad.

I mean not really saying much though, it's a team in Charlotte.

Jacksonville is the 12th largest city in the nation and the largest city in the Southeast population wise. The city goes crazy for the Jaguars when they are winning and pack the stadium out. We just only have a few winning seasons where we legit have a good team to get behind.
