Their was a guy on this board a year ago from Ohio who stated Burrow was a star. He chimed then that Joe was better than Dwayne Haskins who had just thrown for 40 td's at Ohio State. The rant grilled the poster and I thought he was nuts also. I'm here to eat crow. Joey Heisman! all time great.

I’m trying to get these Redskins fans around me to realize Haskins is not that good. He dropped for a reason, meanwhile people are offering their entire draft to pick Burrow #1.

Hell, you could see it last season, but the offense had not moved to the spread. He'd have shined with or without Brady, maybe not fine tuned enough for the Heisman but top notch

He was magical to watch in the state championship playoffs in Ohio. Most Burrow fans thought he would bring a Natty to C'bus. IMO, Meyer and Day dropped the ball (horribly) when they let Joe get away.
LSU gave Burrow a shot as QB for a big time program. And then LSU fielded arguably the best offense in the history of college football in 2019.
Kudos to O, E, Brady, the O-Line, WRs, Moss and CEH.

It’s Brennan’s time.. he will earn it and will have earned it. Not just because he’s next but because he will prove to everybody that this is his team now. You guys make it sound like Joe never took a day off. Brennan has a work ethic that rivals Joe’s. Ask anyone who has ever played played with him. Including now. Just because the man likes to hunt and fish don’t mean he’s derelict in his commitment to this team and his responsibilities. Ask Joe what he thinks about Brennan’s work ethic. I think you’ll like what you hear.
