I am looking for a new crawfish boiling pot. I currently have a 120 qt pot and like using it, but based on where I boil I want one with a spigot that can connect to a hose for easy drainage. I can only find two like this:

1) The Rocket Pot Cajun Pro Cooker. If I am spending that much $$, I would just get a cooker.

2) The 120 qt King Kooker that is only sold on their site.

I like that King Kooker, but since I could only find two like this online, I figured I would see if anyone on here knows of any other places that sell a pot like these?

I'd prefer another 120, but am willing to get a 100 or 140 (would not max it out) if it's "the right pot".

Why not just modify your current one? Seems like it would be relatively easy and cheaper.

And fun to do as a tinkerer.

Why not just add a spigot to your current pot?

What kind of hose are you looking to use?

They are selling these at Academy for less than a rocket pot and it comes with a spigot!

I used my double boiler last weekend.
Loud as shite but efficient.

I guess I was thinking of this needing to be welded but I am seeing a bunch of people adding weldless spigots to their brewing kettles. I would just want to make sure it can withstand the heat.

I am probably going to use a hot water hose like this one:

Here 20 bucks for the whole bulkhead and valve. you dont need the coupling.

as mentioned, have a spigot installed on your pot and call it a day

any aluminum welder should be able to do that for you for under $50

You can probably use those braising rods and a blow torch.

Those spigots that brewers use can take the heat. Boils for brewing are longer than most seafood boils.

All you would need is one of these:
Stainless 1/2" ball valve
and one of these:
Weldless bulkhead
and then a nipple to adapt from 1/2" NPT to a garden hose fitting (3/4" NPT I think).

This is from a homebrew shop so you might be able to source it cheaper somewhere else.
