Years ago when I had a lot of club head speed, a buddy of mine got me a Hybrid off of the Adams Tour Van. It was an Adams Tour Prototype with a prototype shaft in X.

I pounded that club for years. It was fade bias which fit me to a tee. I hit that club from every awful lie and it preformed. In fact I used that club so much the paint finally chipped off of it.

After that I gave up on Hybrids for a long time because so many of them were draw bias. I now have a Ping g410 with a Tensi Orange shaft in it that performs very well in ballflight and distance.

My opinion of the Best of the Best -

Adams
Ping G410
Mizuno CLK

I agree on that, Ping finally got it right.

I was down on the first Ping hybrid models, but these heads are neutral bias and they hit great from every lie.

I haven’t hit many, but like my King Cobra F7 Baffler. It takes the place of my 3 wood if i need to get skinny.

In a SR flex UST Recoil, believe it or not. I play stiff in everything else. Tight draws all day long.

Callaway Diablo 3h with a slight draw is my bailout club. I have gotten to where I can hit it from 160-215 consistent.

The G410 probably works for you the same reason it works for me, it is one of the only current hybrids that has a flat sleeve. I just got one in the flat setting and the builder still put lead tape on the toe to try to minimize going left.

Yep, I hate going left.

I use to play a power fade that would move about 10 yards. Aim at the left side and drop it in the middle.

Then one day a instructor said that I should learn to hit a draw !

I've been cussing that guy for over 20 years now. I can't hit a fade to save my life, but I can hook it off the course...

You and me both. I hate being on a short par 3 and watching the ball start at the center and with a slight breeze draw all the way off the green and into a trap. Doesn't happen all the time, but feel like a good shot and just turns a little too much.

I hate going left more than anything I will hook the shite out of a hybrid.

I cannot not hook one.

Give me a 2 or 3 iron all day.

I wish I could hit them.

Power fade is the greatest shot you can have in the arsenal.

I couldn’t power fade anything until I finally got a x stiff 70 gram, i kind of power fade that tour edge.

When I use to belong to a Club here, there was a Par 3 hole where I would aim out of bounds and hook the ball onto the green.

It use to freak people out.

And a pull hook feels so good in your hands.

Have a TM Sim max hybrid that's one of my favorite clubs. Probably jumped the gun on getting it because I struggled with anything longer than an 8 iron when I started playing and it's lofted between my 7 and 8, but it's pin high on my home course par 3's and still goes straight on face mishits from the rough and fairway. I still reach for it more often than my 7 iron.

I have yet to try anything that beats my Taylormade SLDR Type S 3 & 4 hybrids and 3 Wood. They just feel perfect off the face and my tempo is so good with them. If they ever get too old or worn out I'm going to have to find some online in good condition
