Anyone heard about the disaster going down in League 1?

TL;DR: League 1 made a TV rights deal that was too good to be true and the company ended up pulling out of the deal early, leaving League 1 without a broadcaster and with only a third of the expected revenue currently owed to them from the deal. It’s now threatening the pay structure/ability to acquire players at basically every club except PSG.

Smart time for Arsenal to hop into the market. Just buy every mid table teams top player and one to three will definitely stick and do a job.
But nah Edu and the board are frick sticks.
Feel bad for those Ligue Un clubs and fans. Just shitty

Naturally PSG is as vulnerable as they've been in years.
Even if Canal steps up and clubs can avoid spring bankruptcies, January is still going to be a firesale for many of them. Hopefully the sheer volume of teams looking to poach will offset the lack of club leverage.
Marseille posted a loss of $100M in 18/19 and were teetering on the brink of bankruptcy before the government loan over the summer. They are 2 points back with 2 games in hand and are about to be forced into selling any chance they had of returning to the top.
Portugal is 100% taking 5th place on the European mantle, it's only a question of whether or not Russia moves up to 6th. French football is fricked.
