Check out USCs running stats, and redzone stats.

Not great!

Why was USC’s running game ranked so low then?

LSU was fifth in the SEC in scoring
State was 13

State couldn’t play LSU every week

I follow SC closely. Most SC fans don't like Harrell, they think his offense is soft. I think they'd be glad to have him left.

60/40 and the 40% is really bad.

Harrell ran the ball a good bit at USC. I would just worry about him getting big eyes with his shiny new toys at LSU. If he committed to the run, with a staff around him to support that, he's a great candidate...especially if he meshes with Calloway.

If he can’t run the ball in that league, we will get torched here.

In 2019, USC’s offense averaged 455.4 total yards (335.8 passing) and 32.5 points—significant improvements from 2018, when the figures were 382.6, 249.1 and 26.1—while ranking in the national Top 25 in completion percentage, passing offense, passing efficiency, total offense, third down conversions and first downs. The 2019 Trojans also set school season pass marks for total passing yards (4,365), completion percentage (71.0%), completions (365) and attempts (514).

With a true freshman QB

He also had back to back top 25 offenses at north Texas

60/40 what? Why is he last in the PAC 12 running the ball? Seems like this is another hire based off his name, and another fricking USC connection. Not impressed.

I can do that.. I watched the USC/UCLA game and the USC/Oregon game.

I believe UCLA had almost double the rushing yards, more passing yards, and first downs.. USC was constantly in third down situations BECAUSE THEY CAN’T RUN THE BALL!

As far as players.. didn’t they have a really good class in 2018... I think it was top 10.

Running backs don’t sign there. I wonder why.

Another USC connection

lol what?

He’s from Texas and played at Texas Tech

He’ll be able to recruit Texas for sure and he helped develop Slovis, a true freshman, at USC
