I didn't realize it was already out. 81% critic score and 95% audience score on RT. I'm a big Bob Odenkirk fan with BCS and Mr. Show so I might give it a watch. I also haven't been to a theater since I saw TFA in December 2019. Has anyone on here seen Nobody or have thoughts on it?

Fun popcorn movie, good if not necessarily realistic action and funny at points also. Just don't take it too seriously and you should have a great time.

I am not an action person, it usually bores me. I had fun watching this movie. I definitely recommend it and thought he did a great job.

More over-the-top John Wick that takes itself less seriously. Highly recommended.

Couldn’t agree more. Odenkirk was fantastic.

It was basically John Wick meets Red metts Home Alone. I enjoyed it quite a bit. I was also thoroughly pleased at the turnout at my theater. It was way more crowded than it was even 2 months ago.

He was. I thought he was dead.

The movie was a good shoot em up. The complaint I hear is that people had a hard time buying BO as an action star. It's worth a rental for sure.

I really enjoyed this movie. Didnt have a whole lot of expectations going in but I found it a fun ride. Interesting how these comedic actors can migrate somewhat seamlessly to more serious roles but the serious role actors seem to have more difficulty doing comedy roles.

see the first John Wick didn't take itself that seriously

which is why it's so much better than the 2 sequels, which did

quote:

Viggo Tarasov: I heard you struck my son.

Aurelio: Yes, sir, I did.

Viggo Tarasov: And may I ask why?

Aurelio: Yeah, well, because he stole John Wick's car, sir, and, uh, killed his dog.

Viggo Tarasov: [pause] Oh.

that will never NOT make me crack up

My dad, brother & I are huge BB/BCS fans so might go see it tomorrow. Looks great and Odenkirk is an awesome actor.

Saw it over the weekend. Nothing groundbreaking, but it's a lot of fun.

It would be hard for me to view Odenkirk as a BA

That's the point of the film. Wouldn't work with The Rock or Statham as the guy that everyone dismisses as a nobody.

Ok, but isn’t he a retired BA in the movie?

Yes, but he was a BA that no one would see coming. And he's not a BA in the James Bond or The Rock sense. He gets his arse handed to him on a regular basis.

Bruce Willis had same issue when The first Die Hard came out. He was thought of before DH the wise arse from the TV show Moonlighting. DH changed the entire perception of him.

Ok thanks. I love Odenkirk anyway.
