Have all the players play with 60s/70s tech clubs and balls.
That would be quality TV

The Tour is a player run orginazation. I'm sure they'll line up to play inferior equipment with their profession on the line

They should also partner with space X and have a tournament on Mars

Not a bad idea, but it better not come before a 2 man scramble with one club challenge holes.

That would be amazing but the players would never go for it. It’s a different swing nowadays with the solid core ball and they’d be afraid to mess up their trackman numbers

There was an article recently about how Paul Casey hit a bunch of shots with an old persimmon driver and he hit it damn near as far as current equipment. Everyone was surprised at the results. I can’t remember where I read it but it definitely threw shade on the idea that the equipment is the sole reason these guys are so good. I’m sure the ball is a bigger reason but we are also a generation or 2 in to an era where the economy has been so good that a lot more people can not only have access to golf but quality instruction. The kids in high school are incredible these days.
