UK for Summer 2022 - Covid related

We’re planning a big family trip to the UK for about 18 days in summer ‘22. Flying in and out of London with a few days there. We’ll spend most of our time in Scotland, with one day trip planned to Paris.
What is the likelihood that the quarantine and other restrictions stay in place there? From what I’ve read, they’re expecting a spike Q3 and Q4 of 2021, declining into 2022. Will they still be eat up with Covid-mania then?

There's always a chance that COVID could evolve into a form that evades the vaccines, but the current vaccines work on all current variants, and the world is basically going to be vaccinated by then.

Considering that the UK is expanding the Euro Semi-Finals and Final in Wembley to 60k+ people this coming Tuesday and Wednesday from just under 20k like 3 weeks ago, I'd say you are safe to make the trip.
A frick ton of the UK is vaccinated or partially vaccinated already. They've done well with the vaccine rollout from what I've heard.
I think you will be fine.
I legitimately expect the UK to be fully open come sometime in the Fall

Impossible to tell right now OP. I think you are likely more than safe to plan on going at this point, but I wouldn’t plan on it being a ‘lock’.
