I get it, testing the waters and all that and at the end of the day, it's all about finding the best path to the World Cup. It's the best tournament ever and I can't begrudge anyone that will do anything necessary to find a way to be a part of that.
With that said, something doesn't sit right with me that he was in a USMNT locker room two months ago celebrating one of the program's more famous wins over Mexico. And now he is training... with Mexico.
