Picking 2nd overall in my money league . 12 team - 1pt ppr. Snake draft.

I have to go Dalvin Cook here right. ? Unless he passes on CMC for some reason..

Also, what do you guys think I’m looking like for my second and third round selection with back to back (almost) picks. Pick another wasteland/risky rb or load up on receiver right here. ?

Any tips or feedback appreciated. This is the league I care about the most.

Yes.

He's gone #2 OA after CMC in almost every league I've drafted thus far outside of a few best balls. It's been CMC/Cook/Kamara/Henry.

2) Cook
23) hope Ridley or Jefferson falls (probably won’t). If not, would grab that second RB (Gibson, Mixin, Harris, CEH)
26) Waller if he’s still there

WR as usual, is a crap shoot after Mclaurin/Robinson. Can plug almost any top 40 WR in based on matchup.

Yes. Take him #2. And you’re likely looking at a combo of Ridley, Metcalf, Jefferson, or AJ Brown around #23. Really can’t go wrong with any of them.

Appreciate the feedback. I was thinking Dalvin 100%. But wanted to confirm with you sharps on here.

For my 2nd and 3rd round I’m hoping a RB falls that I feel good about like CEH. Maybe dobbins although I’m not sure how I feel about him. I’m gonna assume najee Harris will be gone by then or that would seem like a no brainer.

I think if there isn’t another rb there that I feel really good about the value picks at WR in this slot will be too good not to double down and have a solid tier 1 stud rb/ fringe wr1 combo for a good core.

I think I like Gibson over Harris, CEH and Dobbibs right now. Supposedly the Chiefs really like Jerrick McKinnon and plan on using him a good bit and WFT apparently wants to use Gibson like CMC.

Yeah, you're going to have to see who falls to you.

If a top tier WR as mentioned above falls, I'd jump on them - said player wouldn't make it back to you in 3rd round with #1 OA double-pick. You may also consider Waller/Kittle to lock down a top 3 TE.

My brother is picking 3rd and there’s no fricking way I’m gifting him Dalvin cook. If anyone else here I’d go outside of cmc and cook here it would be henry . I love Kamara but I just can’t take him 2. I think im convinced on Dalvin with the slight hope this fricker passes on cmc.

I know what the rankings and mock drafts are telling you but, I’d take Henry over Cook in a heartbeat. There weren’t a lot of defenses that could stop Henry last year and I like what the Titans did in the off season. I believe the offense really gets opened up, I think this is an all in year for Tennessee.

Just be prepared for the injuries. Cook was very fortunate last yr. But he is a walking injury

He has played 14 games the last two years in a row so has only missed one game each year in the last two

If you go Cook, be sure to grab Mattison later to have your bases covered.

I have pick #2 in a 12 team 0.5ppr league and I'm really leaning towards Henry.

I'm in the same slot. Ideally, Jefferson or Metcalf fall to me, this has happened in about half the mocks I've done. I'm in a league full of LSU baws so I'm not counting Jefferson to be there.

In the mock I did last night DK, JJ, AJ Brown, and CEH were all gone so I took Mixon (over McLaurin who went next pick) and then Ceedee in the 3rd.

Henry’s workload over the last two years worries me. I know he’s an absolute freak physically, but the numbers say that he is line for a down year. RBs who carry over 300 in consecutive drop off in production. A few still had good seasons but not Top 3 overall type seasons. Most saw a major drop because they got injured. The only other RB to break that trend was Jones-Drew, but he wasn’t barely seen after that for his career. Peterson also had success, but it was sporadic after that. But he is probably the biggest freak of nature the NFL has ever seen at RB.

I'd say Mattison is in the running for best backup RB so if you take Cook, Mattison should 100% be on your roster. There are times I watch a vikings game and not realize that Mattison is in for a series. He's obviously not as good as Dalvin but Mattison would do just fine if something happened.
