rEd flags after the 2019 season

Help me if I miss any
1. Ed's sudden divorce. Initial thought, poor guy. Crappy timing. Heard she was addicted to pills. Hindsight, he probably got too big for his britches, and started fooling around.
2. Lack of response in the wake of George Floyd death Admittedly, I didn't think much of this at first. I saw it as political, sensitive--maybe best to let it bet. I am a white guy, he is a white guy; however, we should have noted what Saban and other coaches did. When managing a team compromised of many black athletes (who come from different backgrounds and world view), he should have displayed more empathy initially.
3. Sudden opt out of Ja'Marr Chase on 8-30-20. In hindsight, should have been a big red flag. I tried to convince myself it was fine with the "that's ok, loaded at WR, next man up, covid is weird" mentality. In reality, it was a warning sign.
4. The Mississippi State loss Tried to console myself with lack of spring ball, lost starters, covid, new coordinator, new defense, lack of film on opponent. In reality, how we lost and who we lost to should have been a big rEd flag.
5. Instagram selfies in bed with other women.
6. Name mentioned in Title 9 complaint.
7. Finishing 2020 5-5. Again, I excused with "weird year, major talent loss, rebuilding, poor defensive coordinator." In reality, LSU with the talent we have should never go .500. If any team loses half of their games after going undefeated and winning a natty, it should be a red flag no matter who they are.
8. Admission he didn't interview Pelini. Big red flag.
9. Trouble landing Marcus Freeman and no telling how many other coordinators. I believe Culotta when he said Freeman had accepted the job and was coming until his wife met O and saw how things were being run.
10. Summer spiraling. Threatening to beat up a booster at a fishing camp. Continued running without a shirt on against admins wishes. Being photographed with other women in LA the day before the first game. Verbally assaulting a UCLA fan in front of his children when walking into the stadium. Can it even be real at this point?
The reality is coach is an impulsive, ego-centric, and insecure man who is difficult to work with, lacking leadership, self awareness, and self control. He may be a great shrimp boat captain, but he is not capable of running a cruise ship. LSU is a perennial college football powerhouse. It deserves a coach commensurate for the responsibility.

Its really been death of 1000 cuts like you say.....but the personal stuff is what has pushed it over.
If he had managed himself like a true executive all the way thru....I dont think we'd be having these conversations today.

He's losing football games. That's it. If he goes 9-1 last year and is undefeated this year you never bring this shite up.
Shut the frick up with this virtue signaling stupid bullshite. You and Ryan Clark can eat a dick. What was Ed suppose to do? Start sucking off some lifelong career criminal that refused to comply? Maybe he should have continued this bullshite politically driven racial divide that CNN and other pussys like you won't stop pushing.
HES A FOOTBALL COACH. If you need him to make statements about George FLoyd then you're a moron.
Heres the facts- If hes winning you never bring up any of this stupid shite.
He's losing. That's it. Stop looking for dumbass reasons to be offended.

That Syracuse would not even interview him in 2015 for their HC opening.
There were red flags from the beginning. We hired a HC that would not be considered for any other P5 job in the country. The man has no business running a college football program.

Ed wants you to know that he recognizes items 1-10, responsibility falls on him, and they're gonna work on that and try to fix it.

why perpetuate a lie
he should have explained that george floyd was a dopehead and a thug who caused his own death...

Was living the coon arse dream worth it Ed?

"verbally assaulting a UCLA fan"- you are really woke if that was verbal assault.

If this is a reason, then we need to just shut the football program down. It wasn't and will not have an affect on things.
The issues are entirely with his incapabilities and the fact he is a football moron outside of rah rah and coaching DL. O bought into his success as all because of him.
He truly believes he found Brady (even tough E did). He thinks it was him that helped the offense develop and believes he knows more about defense than Aranda.
In the end, O is an egotistical moron that is burning down his own house because he thinks he's a master pastry chef.

Exactly....I also don't think we would be very worried about losing to Kentucky.

Doesnt' matter what you think, or I think, or what Ed thinks. What matters is that the team thinks, and he lost a sizable portion of them when he basically ignored the situation and then went on Fox and lauded the guy that most of the players couldn't stand. That's straight from a notable player on the team, they all pretty much tuned him out since then
What do you think is more likely, Nick Saban marching around Tuscaloosa because he cared about George Floyd or BLM? Or because he knows he cannot succeed without the majority black players on his team, and so he's going to do what it takes to make sure they believe he's got their back no matter what.

Did you not see how Saban's players responded after he marched with them? Something like that is not meaningless even if you think that it is.

You moron your players on the roster who play for you are 90% black you back them up! Period whether u personally belive it or not!

Caleb Williams and Tristan Leigh getting intimate and perhaps having LSU leading for large portion on their recruitment, then bailing showed once the national recruits got a peek behind the curtain and were unimpressed was a major flag.

career criminal that refused to comply?
Fixed it for you: Man suspected of paying with counterfeit bill murdered in the street by a police officer.
Even “career criminals” who are hysterical and high don’t deserve to be murdered in the street by government authorities. Shouldn’t you small government folk agree?
