I have a day off Monday and Tuesday and was wondering how the conditions are at Houston National, Cinco Ranch or Meadowbrook farms? I have never played these course so I’m curious if anyone has played them recently.

Black Horse golf course was in stellar shape Friday.

See if you can sneak over the fence.

Nice. I may try High Meadow Ranch out in Magnolia.

Cinco Ranch

I've played Cinco Ranch about 3 times over the last 3 months and was always impressed with the condition of the course.

High Meadow Ranch is a great track and a good test of golf.

Both Wildcat courses are in good shape.

Gus Wortham is very good.

El Dorado at Quail Valley is in good shape, love the grill.

Played Cinco Ranch 3 weeks ago and the fairways were the best that I can remember.

Played there last year and came across one of the biggest water moccasins on #18 that I have ever seen.

Have been wanting to get back out to Wildcat as they have always been fun rounds.

Gus is awesome which is why they get booked so quickly.

Haven’t been to El Dorado in about 3 years but it was good when we went. We played both courses and had lunch at the grill.

We have been playing at Eagle Pointe on Sundays and the course is in great shape. Last Sunday I don’t know if it was too wet to mow the rough or they are letting it grow because they have the club championship coming up but man was that rough was tough!

Sienna sucked last week.
Gus was good as always.
2 Weeks ago River Plantation was reasonably ok and West Fork was West Fork.

Not really sure. There were a few holes that were just awful. Most of them had large dead areas. Maybe it was remnants from the freeze.

If you end up driving north enough to go to RP, I’d consider driving a little further north and going to Panorama GC

They were going to close it and fix the drainage, did that ever happen ?

Love the course, but it was always wet and cart path...

Damn Lopez Group.

Heard that about Sienna. They hate to water and fertilize.

They are actually doing better at Greatwood, it better than it's been in 10 years.

I think they lost their greenskeeper last year and the greens have been spotty at Meadowbrook Farms ever since.

Just texted my buddy who is a member there and he said they did some stuff a few years ago but he heard they were gonna do some more but because of covid they didn’t. I usually avoid it too if it rains that week. Cart path only out there really blows.
