I'm starting Brooks over Zimmerman simply because, if he's on, he can be the best player on the pitch. Zimmerman can't be that even though he has a higher floor than Brooks.

I can’t argue against that, Broski.
My only counter would be that Zimmerman provides more in terms of line-breaking passes and set pieces.
Both have tendencies to make boneheaded mistakes, though.

I don’t trust brooks but I would start him. Honestly though I can’t remember a time with this much consensus regarding the top 11 and really the first 3-5 guys off the bench.
I don’t see a ton of change happening to that consensus between now and 2022, although if scally continues to play regularly and improve I would like to see a lineup with Dest moved to the wing and Reyna moved centrally in place of musah, with musah and aaronson being the first two off the bench.

I hope so. the current team is pretty talented but raw. Need some continuity to develop chemistry over the next year going into WC. We could sew together 3-4 good games and reach a QF if we’re in form and healthy.
