ahead with vaccine mandate. December 6th is deadline for first jab. Have it or lose job.
Remember those disease infested blankets? This time the Chief is the one passing them out. The head of health, a dentist, is his wingman.
They refuse to answer what happens if ruled unconstitutional after people get the jab.
Wife asked about medical exemption, turned down without even looking at her chart.

Tell her not to give in.

Women are especially vulnerable to the poison.

And if you bow to this what won't you bow to?

How are the native people the only ones in oklahoma mandating anything? The rest of the state is very anti... If this was my local leader I would fight him in the streets. Want me to come to town and beat the red out your authoritarian piece of shite leadership?

I just looked it up. I am 1/16 Cherokee. My great-greatmother was 100%. My great-grandfather was 100% Jewish. I'm exempt from all of the white supremacy non-sense. I want my casino money so I can open a jewelry store - being Jewish and all.

Wouldn't be the first time their tribal leaders sold them out...

The trail of tears happened because their leaders misrepresented the tribe to the US government.

Leadrrs: "Yeah, pay us, you can have the land, we'll move the people..."

8 years later
US: "Where's those mfers we paid already?"

Probably not a good name for a jewelry store. I'll probably need to think on that one. I've never been keen on our "native" jewelry.

Plenty of people need Cherokee nation jobs. If she doesn't meet the criteria anymore that sucks but there is no reason they must employ her if she doesn't comply with policies they set.....

Cherokee Nation issued their own vaccine mandate that has been in effect since May 25, 2021.

LINK

Looks like they also have medical and religious exemptions. Has her medical exemption been pending this entire time? Or have they just been lax about enforcing?

She could try for the religious exemption, though I don’t know what their rules are on that. It looks like there also may be a loophole for employees that work for a “Cherokee Nation entity” versus working directly for the tribe. Check the “All Other Employees” definition.

It also says that employees that were already employed prior to the mandate are only suspended from “Non Essential Job Functions” until they are vaccinated. They define those as aspects of the work which are not crucial to completing the core functions of their job. So if she was already working there prior to May 25, 2021, I’m reading that as they can’t fire her for not getting the vaccine, just suspend her from non-essential job functions.
