…..”We call for social studies teachers to stand in solidarity with the families of those victimized by Kyle Rittenhouse. We call for social studies teachers to stand in solidarity with the right to proclaim Black Lives Matter without fearing white vigilantism. We call for social studies teachers to stand in solidarity with citizens who continue to stand for justice, even when the systems of justice are found wanting.”

"Social studies" was an invention of the Marxist left in the 1970s to replace civics, history, and current events in education

The Black Book of Communism should be required reading in high school and college.

Electronic formats can be downloaded here for free.

A Social Studies Council that does not understand the presumption of innocence, the right to self-defense and the 2nd amendment is the one that needs to be taught and has no basis for telling anyone else anything.

These people are ignorant. Willfully ignorant. And anti-American.

How does one "stand in solidarity" with no one?

When in doubt, toss around MLK’s name. I’m so positive he would have sided with three career criminals.

Call me crazy, but isn't Kyle Rittenhouse now a victim of the intentional false narrative of the liberal politicians and activists?

Aren't we all now victims of the false reporting and narratives about this event? Tell me, are we in the general public safer or at more risk when politicians and activist promote a narrative that is demonstrative false for the purpose of, and calling for civil disobedience?

I'm so glad she left her phone and email for a "discussion." Maybe I should call and tell her that she doesn't represent all of us "Socialist Studies" teachers.

Sure. Kyle was. He was the victim of their unwarranted aggression and he had to defend himself from them.

The people he shot are not victims...they are assailants.
