If they've had a check in problem, thereby making it impossible for voters to check in and case their vote, then it is perfectly legitimate to keep the polls open until everyone has had the opportunity to vote. There's nothing wrong with this. You would want the same access for your vote, right?

The poll closing time is the law, you can't just randomly ignore it.
I know that's shocking news to Hillary supporters.

You know that if there was a malfunction in a majority Republican county and folks were being turned away because of it, you would want the same ability to cast your vote, even if it meant keeping the polls open a little longer.

Therefore, no one should be allowed to extend time.

Because it's the law.
Why are you anti-law?

Pretty simple, if you are in line at the time when the poll closes, you are allowed to vote.
I don't see a reason to extend time by 90 minutes.

There are already procedures in place for this--changes to time must be done on an individualized basis, but the NAACP wants the entire county open the extra 90 minutes, i.e., across the board so that they can gain an unfair advantage.

MY precinct in Prairieville is 100% paper rolls with some elderly arse people doing the check in. Should we get an extra 90 minutes?
Of course not, since my area is mostly white

Also, polls don't just close at the assigned time. If you are in line by that time, you get to vote no matter how long it takes you to get through the line. So just SHOW UP ON TIME.
This is nothing more than the NAACP wanting to bitch and moan about something, anything.

Isn't it a rule everywhere that if you are in line at the time the polls close, they will let you vote?
I don't understand why they need an extension.
Also, this is why I early vote. Stuff happens on election day.
