Possibly, but his repeal of TPP will HELP the economy. TPP was written VERY poorly for the American people. His stance on it is a strong factor in him winning educated voters.

While I'm not in favor of cutting taxes for the 1%, once he gets into office he's going to have to pay for the things he wants to do. If he also plans on cutting taxes, he will need to cut a lot of things out. So, there's a good chance taxes will remain as they are for at least the foreseeable future.

Obama said numerous times he wanted gas (and energy) prices to rise in order to combat climate change. In other words, make it so the poor and the working class can't afford it.
