It's all about playing on fear of the traditional power demographic.
You see it subliminally with the Columbus Day bitching, national anthem was "written by a white man slave owner," white man has kept minorities down, every problem society has faced is due to white men, and so on...
Women have been held in lower regard by men as well historically so Hillary pushes the "I'm with you" mentality. Demonizing white men then campaigning that she is not one.
Funny thing is white men have changed historic trends and empower women as much or more so than any other race currently. Look at Middle Eastern, African, Latino, and Asian male vs female societal power distribution.
Also how many countries have had a leader elected by the population who was a member of demographic that comprised 16% of that population? I mean I can think of countries controlled by an "elite" ruling class that is the minorty due to a long past conquest, like South Africa back in the day. But how many Asian countries voted a Caucasian their leader, African countries voted a white man to lead them, middle eastern countries "voted" (if they did this kind of thing) a non middle eastern leader? We are as tolerant and open minded a country to have ever existed...
