I have said multiple times on this board that I believe Trump will extend an olive branch to cruz in the form of a SCOTUS appt. Might not be the first replacement but before he leaves office he will at least have offered it to him

FWIW I think 2-3 other judges are already past the average life expectancy in the US. Trump could have several nominations in his administration.
