CMC’s injuries while shitty aren’t really the nagging type that make me think he’s going into the season as damaged goods. When he’s right he’s one hell of a cheat code that can win you multiple weeks single handedly.
Played all 16 games his first 3 years in the league so it’s not like this has been his entire career. So you can either believe the last 2 years were shitty luck or a trend. I’ll bet on the talent

100% healthy Saquon is better than 100% healthy CMC and you can get Saquon for crazy value late 2nd this year. Saquon at his peak is Rb1 in the league
Based on what ?

I'm also the 6th pick in a keeper league. I am really hoping on of the 5 people in front of me make a dumb decision and leave either Chase or Adams on the board.
In my league, yes. There isn't a penalty/cap for keepers. We are moving to penalty/cap next year.

I will not forget to come back to say I told y’all so later in the year when Saquon is a PPR god meanwhile McCaffery is sidelined with another lower leg injury. The best of CMC is in the past and I’m not drafting a player I KNOW will get hurt. Not a matter of if, but when

List of McCaffery’s 5 strains in the last 2 seasons
Talking about drafting a guy 1.02 who’s played in 10 games in the last 2 seasons, out of 33 games, is criminal and anyone who does it deserves to reap the consequences. I would make sure Ekeler, Najee, and Cook are off the board before I consider CMC

I really hate the 2 spot in a 12 man. Almost wish I was at 10 or 11.

Ekeler at #2 would be hard to do, but it's who do you think has the safest floor. He's top 5 for sure. They all have their pros and cons. Nothing is a given.
Or, Kupp or Henry.

Yeah I’ve had it on my mind a lot today. It’s almost every expert taking CMC @2 that’s got my head spinning I guess. Then some guys on a fantasy pros podcast were kinda shitting on a guy that took ekeler 2 in one of their mocks. I’m pretty torn to be honest. I think the back half of the first round has the best value. I feel you can get an equally valuable running back around 8-12 and then load up on the turn.

Yeah, and by the time it comes back to you at #2, you're likely looking at WRs like Pittman, Moore or D. Johnson, maybe another RB like Conner or Akers.
Tough choice. I guess you have to roll with your gut, or just trust the rankings and hope CMC is as hoped for this year.

And you’re touting Barkley, who has played only 15 games the last two seasons
Your criteria for fading a guy is confusing mate

Yeah my boy had me up there until he started knighting for Barkley.

Would any of y’all consider trading from 2 to 4. I’m thinking @ 4 (12 man league) I would be equally happy with ekeler , Henry , or cmc prob. Then I would have a really good chance of nabbing another solid RB when it comes back to me with maybe AK or javonte Williams ?

Barkley suffered 1 major injury that messed up his past two seasons (ACL tear) and he’s supposed to be fully recovered finally. CMC picks up a new injury every other month, how someone strains so many muscles is beyond me. No one in this thread should be caught off guard when Saquon dominates this year. I’ll take Saquons value at late 2nd/early 3rd a hundred times before CMC at 1.02, give me Kupp or Jefferson there, players I know will produce elite numbers and will still be on the field for the FF playoffs

I drafted ekeler at #3 in one league.
JT
CMC
Ekeler
Kupp
We’re the first 4 off the board

So who is RB1 for week 1?
Posted on 9/11/22 at 6:44 pm to spaghettioeauxs
Doesn’t change your shitty logic baw. And you’re talking to a Barkley owner
It’s week 1, buckle up
