#Panthers star RB Christian McCaffrey is expected to miss a few weeks, sources say, as the team continues to run tests on his hamstring injury suffered last night. IR is not the plan as of now. Rookie Chuba Hubbard is the next man up.

Hubbard: All Plays ‘21

I think he’s going to be a solid PPR fill-in for managers that can pick him up. In standard, less optimistic.

Hope I can scoop him.

I just can't see Nuk sitting out. If I had him I'd be starting him with no reservations.

Regarding Christian McCaffrey’s hamstring injury:

From 2016-2019, here’s the percentage breakdown of number of games missed by skill players specifically due to a hamstring strain (i.e. 73 players/33% of the sample missed 0 games, 34 players/15.4% of sample missed 2 games etc.)

49ers injury report, per Kyle Shanahan:

OUT -- DT Kevin Givens (ankle), RB JaMycal Hasty (ankle)

DOUBTFUL -- RB Elijah Mitchell (shoulder)

QUESTIONABLE -- DT Javon Kinlaw (knee), CB Emmanuel Moseley (knee), DL Arik Armstead (adductor)

RB Trey Sermon is cleared to go.

Good development for the 49ers: Elijah Mitchell is back at practice and Trey Sermon’s blue non-contact jersey is off

Kind of mixed signals on Mitchell.

Darrell Henderson is officially questionable for the Rams Sunday.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is listed as questionable with an illness, but he's expected to start Sunday in Detroit. He was a full participant in Friday's practice.

NFL informed suspended former All-Pro WR Josh Gordon that it is reinstating him, sources tell ESPN. Gordon is expected to be eligible to play as early as Week 4.

Shanahan said Trey Sermon, who is out of the concussion protocol, has been "great" all week. It certainly seems as if he'll be the starter on Sunday.

Shanahan says that Elijah Mitchell (shoulder, doubtful) is only trying to give it a go because the 49ers are so shorthanded at RB right now.

"If Raheem was still here and Hasty was still there, we'd definitely wait a week."

He’s gotta seize this opportunity and fricking put a stranglehold on the SF backfield.

If you’re looking for a reason to back Chase Claypool this week, his aDOT is 17.4m and the Bengals’ defense has surrendered 15 completions that have traveled 10 or more yards in the air, tied for 4th-most in the NFL. I’d have a lot more faith in Claypool if Ben’s arm wasn’t shot (and he wasn’t also dealing with a pec injury), but I feel a breakout game is coming.
