Thomas lines up in the slot a lot though, and Carolina sucks

Yea that's a broken defense, it appears

Slot work vs CAR

WRs Tyler Boyd (6/132/1), Tyler Lockett (5/107/1), JuJu Smith-Schuster (3/90/1), Adam Humphries twice (8/82/2, 7/61/1), Sterling Shepard (4/75/0), Cole Beasley (7/73/0), and Bruce Ellington (6/52/0)

Overall WR1 since the Dallas trade.

Six games total

WR18
WR20
WR49
WR1
WR24

Im a Cooper guy, he's still be a WR1 in 33% of his games in DAL.

Little help from my post last page please.

Also, Carr or Winston?? I’m leaning Carr bc Winston va Baltimore seems like an absolute shite show.

Those are all second option receivers though. Carolina is shading extra coverage towards the WR1, even when they move around. So I still think it’s not as good of a matchup as it appears for Thomas, which was part of why he’s my odd man out in that group

Have a solid team but need the tight end to give me a little something. 1/2 pt ppr. Choose between

Ian Thomas versus Saints
Jimmy Graham vs Bears
Vernon Davis vs Jaguars

Chubb has faced an 8-man-or-more box the 2nd most often among all running backs, yet is still the NFL’s leader in yards after contact per attempt at 4.6 YAC.

Nick Chubb's ranks since Carlos Hyde was traded (in Week 7):
• Carries: 128 (T-2nd)
• Team share of carries: 78% (1st)
• Rushing yards: 587 (5th)
• Yards after contact: 3.8 (2nd)
• Total TDs: 8 (T-4th)

Lockett, Boyd and JSS are all top 20 guys and the current best WRs on their team statistically

CAR is employing the same scheme they employed last year with the same guys

Munnerlyn is the leaky slot guy, Bradberry will travel at times but has allowed the most yardage of any CB in the league. Same two guys Thomas got over on in three games last year.

You would think they shut down the "WR1" based off stats, but you have to realize that there is no real reason to go outside when these dudes are feasting in the slot.

Agreed. But they weren’t seeing the coverage as the top guy when they played the Panthers. Maybe Lockett, but I think Baldwin played that game

I’m going off Football Outsiders stats. From what I see, Panthers are well above average against the WR1, but they’re seeing average number of targets to WR1. Combine that with poor coverage on the other WRs. To me, that means Thomas will see extra coverage and the undrafted crew will be running free

Edit: don’t think he’s getting shut down. But I think he’s the odd man out of Thomas/Coop/Allen/Hill

yep. Other 3 guys more consistent and more likely to get you top 10 WR production. Coop plays on pretty much any other team

I'm not sure where this is coming from, didn't even see your post before I posted mine. Much less upvote or downvote anything.

Choot em's strategy at the top of this page is actually very solid.

Ya, I cant play Hill w/ the possible foot and Cooper with the high variance finishes.

Take the floor/ceiling w Allen and Thomas and hope Hill blows the roof off.

Targets to Tight Ends vs #Giants have a near-80% completion rate last 10 games. With Jonnu Smith joining Delanie Walker on IR, it's Anthony MFin Firkser time. Baller in @thecooleyzone's likeness.

Looking at his numbers last 4 weeks (and Jonnu’s injury) that might not be a bad play
