One is fair game, the other isn't. I've stated my opinion about that strategy. probably not smart in most cases, but it's whatever if one chooses to do so.

When did your league notice this was happening?
There was a father/son duo in one of my leagues a couple years back where the son sat Calvin Johnson and a couple others the week before playoffs, and he was playing against his dad.
His dad made the playoffs and I missed them because of that.
I didn't realize this was going on, another guy that knew the two better called them on it. But not until after all the games were played that week.
There was a big discussion about it and a number of people were pissed. Led to some league changes.
I started a thread about it on here and I think most people here said that it was my responsibility to watch for such things and call them out before the games end.

We caught it before the 12pm games even started. Sent messages asking wtf? No answer, then some bs about not having service or he didnt know hogan was hurt. No response as of yet, I personally dont think they are going to fix it and I hope it bites them in the arse.

Looks like nothing is going to happen. No response to msgs. Hoping to win the whole muthafricker and walk away. Clinched a 1st rnd bye, get zeke back and hopefully woods returns to pre-injury performance. If any of you have an open spot next year, I would be interested in a similar type setup. Yeah, that's so fricked up. People should just stop and think about what cheating at a stupid game like fantasy football that is just supposed to be a bit of fun says about a person.

So today the saga continues...So the guy that the commish and his brother screwed out of the playoffs was supposed to play me today. Since the commishs brother decided to tank his game so the commish could make the playoffs, the guy I play today decided to tank his game so I could clinch a bye week. He benched several players prior to the games today. The commish sees this AFTER the games have started and takes it upon himself to change my opponents roster. I get a txt later saying that tanking a game is grounds for expulsion of the league. Upon closer investigation, if my oppenent tanked the rest of the season, he would then push the commish out of the playoffs. In a group txt to the entire league i aired the dirty laundry and was basically told to stfu "im the commish and I can do whatever I want". After several players request their buy-ins back due to me sending pictures of texts where the commish and his brother admit "yes i tanked on purpose". the commish then threatens to kick me out of the league. Out of spite i drop my 10-1 team to waivers since the season is toast for the entire league due to corruption. Needless to say its a dumpster fire, friendships have been ruined and ive been kicked out for calling them on their scandal.

Nope. I made a poll asking if people in the league wanted their money back. Within 30min it was already yes 3-1. The commish deleted it along w my access to the league. He basically said no one was getting their money back in a round about way.
I thought about keeping my mouth shut but around week 4 the commish made a questionable trade and I let it go. Now this happens and no telling what kind of shite he'd pull once hes in the playoffs. Rather just cut my losses now and spend my sundays doing something else.
