Tough to see anything positive from the Bears O tonight. They desperately need to get a run game going if they are even going to remotely be successful going forward. They also need a great FG kicker and they just don't have that.

GB wasn't much better but they at least have the excuse of playing away in a hostile crowd against a great D

I wouldn't be mad at OT, but what's the likelihood of Trubisky driving 85 yards to tie it up?

Took a sack on 4th and 8.

So glad we were treated to what basically looked like a preseason game in Week 1 because God forbid the starters play before the regular season begins. Absolute farce of a game. Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the league and that's the product?

Im thinking i should not have banked on Trubisky showing the improvement that Goff and other young QB's have recently

I was hoping the same thing, but only got him in one league.

That’s not the issue here. I heard them say that on the broadcast too. Offenses don’t sync up bc of preseason game play time. The issue is both teams keyed against the run, and neither team has a very good passing game to respond. For the Bears, Trubisky is still early in his development. For the Packers, that O line can’t pass block and they’re running too many slow developing routes

Allen Robinson had a great game. Love the 13 targets and love his physical play. OL needs to play better so Mitch can feed him

To think, the Saints selected Stanley Jean Baptiste three picks before ARob in the second round in 2014

Yeah, we had taken Cooks in Round 1 but a lot of people were high on ARob going into that draft.

Could have taken Clinton Dix, Jason Verret, or Deone Buchanan with that pick for DB, or even Dee Ford FFS

I'm not sure whether to drop Allison or Mike Davis now.

#Packers WR2 competition wasn’t really a competition tonight: Marquez Valdes-Scantling- 38 snaps (66.7%), 6 targets, 4 rec, 52 yards Geronimo Allison- 28 snaps (49.1%), 0 targets

Horrible showing but how much of that was Green Bay trying to protect rodgers?

Davis had horrible efficiency but out touched/snapped Monty & was in the game on the last drive.

GB wasn’t trying to protect Rodgers. He got sacked at least 5 times. They were running slow developing routes and he wasn’t looking for easy dump offs to the RBs. Rodgers biggest issue last year (and looks like this year) is he’s refusing to go to dump offs to his RBs or short yardage routes. He’s looking for big yardage every play, and if it’s not there he holds on and the O line breaks down. Earlier in his career the O line wouldn’t break down. But they do now so he needs to adapt
