What’s the boards’s thoughts on Dobbins?

If he is there in the early 3rd (12 Team 0.5PPR), I feel like I need to grab him.

I actually think he’s gonna be a solid option this year

Being drafted around some elite WRs, if you don’t go RB/RB I could justify it, but I’d rather go RB/RB/WR/WR unless something crazy happens and an elite TE or a solid RB slips

I’ll put it this way
I have the first pick and I’m very comfortable starting my draft with CMC/Dobbins + an elite WR like Hopkins/Jefferson/Metcalf.
The only thing that will keep him from being a RB1 is the fact Gus will still get a decent amount of touches. That and Lamar will snipe some GL TDs where he keeps it instead of handing it to Dobbins. But he’s still going to eat. They’re the run heaviest team in the league not named Cleveland and the Brows supported two very good RBs in Chubb/Hunt.
Chubb is above Dobbins because he will get more GL carries obviously and doesn’t have to deal with Lamar Jackson, but there’s enough to like about Dobbins for him to be taken early or in the middle of the third round.

He will be frustrating as hell by no fault of his but should still be a solid rb2.

Agreed. To me he’s below the top 14 RBs but he’s ahead of that next tier of guys like Carson, Montgomery, Swift, etc.

Pretty much how I see it, but it changes by the hour
I currently have them as Montgomery, Dobbins, Carson, Swift (though I won't touch swift for whatever reason.) I think Dobbins has the best talent of the 5 but it's hard for me to get over his situation competing with Lamar and Gus. If the Chicago offense can take a step forward, which I'm expecting, I think Monty is in line for a career season.

My issue with Montgomery is there shotty oline play and uncertainty at qb but he should get a pretty hefty workload with tarik injured. Already gave my thoughts on Dobbins. Carson should be solid but his body has been breaking down lately. I would actually be high on swift if he wasn’t hurt right now. He was being talked about as getting 20-25 touches a game by his rb coach but him being hurt has allowed Jamal Williams to carve out a nice roll and will seem to be used in a fashion that Kamara and Ingram were used. Problem with that is that the offense won’t be as explosive limiting opportunity. Positive is that the offensive line should be much improved.
